Sangwoo joined BoMc after 13 years at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he served as a primary patent examiner. He has leveraged his deep knowledge of USPTO practice to advise BoMc clients on patent strategies and collaborate with patent examiners on finding productive solutions.
Sangwoo advises BoMc clients on building high-value patent portfolios spanning a wide array of technologies, including software, Internet, semiconductor, and mechanical technologies. He also specializes in analyzing IP assets in both defensive and offensive postures, including validity and infringement opinions, freedom to operate analyses, and competitive landscape studies.
