Biography
Russell Griggs has experience with all facets of protecting intellectual property, including preparing and prosecuting patent applications, both in the United States and internationally. Russell has assisted clients of all sizes ranging from multi-billion-dollar corporations to startups. Russell also provides strategic counseling for clients to better understand the intellectual property landscape through patentability and infringement searches and opinions.
Russell’s background in computer engineering provides him with a unique ability to understand computer software, hardware, and firmware, and the points where they intersect and interact. Russell has further experience with wireless communication, networking, medical devices, microcontrollers, and touch screens.
Prior to joining BoMc, Russell was a patent attorney for a leading intellectual property firm in Salt Lake City, Utah.
