Dinesh N. Melwani is one of just four outside counsel finalists for the 2017 Diversity in Tech Award. Every year, the IP Section of the National Bar Association (NBA) honors attorneys who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the cause of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

This year’s celebration will take place in Toronto on July 30. It will feature an in-house counsel panel including some of the finalists who will discuss their diversity efforts and initiatives, and business development issues for diverse attorneys. To register to attend, please click here.

The NBA, founded in 1925 is the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominantly African American attorneys and judges. It represents the interests of approximately 65,000 lawyers, judges, law professors, and law students. The NBA is organized around 23 substantive law sections, 9 divisions, 12 regions, and 80 affiliate chapters throughout the United States and around the world.
